Lolita Photoshoot (behind the scene) + Sayoko hangout

26 July 2014

Two days outing with Sayoko~
Went Loudspeaker Subang with her on Saturday, omg the wide selection of Japanese songs!! We went overly high singing all the jrock songs haha. They even have some older jrock songs like Yokan by Dir en Grey omg. Yokan was probably the first few jrock songs I've heard when I'm young. Sayoko said the puchong branch has Preserved Rose and No pain no game though. GAH loudspeaker is really the best! It's cheap, their food is nice!!!(Redbox sucks badly on their food), and cool song selection~

Sacchin took this to show Erin hahaha. To make her jealous. So many Uta-Pri songs lol. I really like Savior of songs!!! And I started practicing on some screamo after the K session haha, really wish to perform Liar (One ok Rock) one day with my beloved band~

27 July 2014

Sunday - I had a Lolita photoshoot by Feito, Ikmal and Rais (who only joined us during the last hour of the shoot).

Thanks a lottttt to Sayoko who actually accompanied me throughout the shoot, and even spent her day with me choosing books (to spend off my 1Mbook vouchers) at Kinokuniya. I'm sure she was pretty tired and probably bored but she didn't complain and was with me the whole day, thanks soooo much.

Sis took this in the car. I really like this pic~ Too bad it's a little dark.

Brighter version. I like the darker one though haha, my expressions were better.

I'm proud of my lolita outfit by the way! This was my first complete Lolita outfit, Navy blue poker x rose print JSK, match with lace white blouse. I was quite worried that it doesn't suit me, or even worse, lolita fashion doesn't suit me. But it went well and I'm so happy I can pull off this look! I'm so looking forward to add more accessories and complete more themes for this outfit. And once I'm done I could move forward to try out other lolitas ^^.

The shoot this time was at Tokyo Pastry, Avenue K. The owner was nice enough to let us move around the decorations and furnitures for the shoot ^^. Although I do feel bad about occupying their space though, for around 4 hours (10am-2pm).

I'm gonna upload some behind the scene pictures for this post, and probably do a proper blog post later when I got the entire set of photos (gonna post the ones I really like ^^). Once again huge thanks to the photographers Feito, Ikmal and Rais for putting up with my inexperience in posing. I did my best during the shoot though~

Okay here comes the omake/sneek peek photos, enjoy~ **All photos posted here credited to AIO photography.

The pretty looking tea set. Only for viewing purpose though, not recommended for eating haha.

Ahh~

Playing with some antique camera ^^.

My mum say I look like minion in this picture =___=.

One of my favourite~

Lol zettai ryouiki.

Sacchin in the photo! They all said she's at her director seat. I wonder what trigger my laughter haha.

Three actual pics taken by AIO Photography (Ikmal):

I love all three! Realise that there's more sitting poses than standing, so there isn't many photos that showcase my entire dress =___=. I'm definitely doing another shoot (when my outfit is complete) in the future!! I'm pretty satisfied with the photos this round, there's around 10+ photos that are usable! Usually out of the entire shoot I only like around 2-3 photos max haha.

The photographers were kind enough to offer me more shoots in the future~ For example my music themed photo shoot (with different instruments), and traditional clothes (my favourite qipao), or fashion shoots ^^. Really looking forward for it to happen!

Sacchin wore a navy sailor themed blouse so our outfit kinda matched! We should have taken full both OOTD pictures though.

Melur and thyme

We rushed for lunch right after the shoot as the food in Tokyo Pastry is just '...'. Wanted to try out Harrod's Cafe initially but Sacchin prefer something heavier for lunch. We ended up with Melur and Thyme just opposite Harrods.

Sacchin's order was great! Carbonara fettucine with duck meat. The pasta was creamy and the duck was tender, I regretted so much for not ordering.

My beef foie gras burger. Meh...Not nice at all. The beef patty was dry, foie gras not nice also sobssss, and these were not cheap kay, wasted my money. Should have ordered pasta instead.

We spent around 2 hours in the restaurant, eating and of course, taking selfies haha. We took loads of them~ Not gonna post all la, quite impossible and you guys will be bored seeing us with the same poses over and over again.

Ok. Lima cukup.

We went to shop for books at Kinokuniya after our meal. Spent quite some time here coz I can't just make up my mind on what books to buy. Sacchin had to walk round and round the bookstore with me, soooo sorry!!

Ended up with two photography/modelling books, two business japanese books and one Zipper magazine ^^.

And then it's going home time sobs. Time always seems to go faster when we are having fun. We did shop a bit at Avenue K before taking the train back though. And Sacchin bought her Old Chang Kee finger food as dinner.
Thanks thanks thanks for everyone, family and friends for always putting up with my activities and spent their precious time with and for me~

"K Missing Kings" - Malaysia Worldwide Premiere

5th July 2014

Sneaked out from my horrible quarter closing to have some fun! There was only one day premiere screening for "K Missing Kings" movie initially (who would have known that due to popularity they actually extended the movie for normal screening =___=; If I had known this I wouldn't have to rush like mad). I'm glad to have went for the premiere screening though, the movie was good and everyone in the hall were anime fans so watching the movie together was pretty fun ^^.

I left work around 12pm to have lunch with my colleague from other department; we had dim sum as lunch on that day. I still prefer my favourite dim sum place in puchong. Went to buy Garnett popcorn after lunch. That was my first time buying this 'branded' popcorn hahha, and true enough they tasted really good! And most importantly my sister likes them, purposely bought it for our movie session later.

Bought the Chicago Mix for our first try -- Caramel Popcorn+Cheese Popcorn. Gotta try the butter flavoured one next~

I went back home to pick up my sis and travelled to MidValley around 3pm. We rushed a little coz we really wanted to get "K" freebies. Just tissue paper and notebook la, but free stuff is always cool. Thanks a lot to Erin for helping us to get the tickets on time, the tickets got sold out pretty fast! After collecting our tickets and freebies, sis and I went to have tea at Pastis Cafe.

Movie tickets, "K" tissue paper and notebook haha.

Our three-tier tea set. The set was more expensive than TWG tea set, and obviously less quality. Sad la, I think only the creme brulee is okay and quiche being slightly edible T____T. Heart pain spending so much money on this tea set. But this set is still not as bad as the ones I had at Betjeman & Barton, that one was horrifying.

Sis taking pictures of the tea set.

While me doing the same.

Dearest sister with our movie freebies. Spending time with her just feels great.

After our tea session at Pastis Cafe, we wanted to have something nicer to feel happy, so we went "N" Brew for some liquid nitrogen icecream. Sis was kinda unlucky that day, the flavor she took tasted really sweet and heavy so she sorta having phobia for liquid nitrogen icecream now hahaha.

Mine was nice though! Gula Melacca and Avocado ^^ Very unique indeed.

After that we went Ninja Joe to meetup with Sayoko and Erin, they were having dinner there. Obviously sis and I were too full for dinner after all the teas and snacks. And then...it's movie time!!!

The first hour of the movie was a refresh about what happened in the first season anime series, which is pretty good coz I've forgotten most of the stuffs hahahaa. And obviously I cried when Suoh died, and I LOVEEEE the Munakata x Suoh scenes. My sis was screaming about the Totsuki Tatara death scene haha. My favourite is still Munakata Reishi, so whenever he's out I'll go fan-girling gao gao.

Second half of the movie is about the rest of the guys finding the new king, and also the silver king etc. The movie ended as a clift hanger though!!!!! It was supposed to be the prelude of the new season I guess. Anyway don't want to give too much spoilers here. I would download the movie when I'm free~ Can watch some interesting scenes over and over again (the ninja scene - people who watch the movie will know hehe).

Relaxing Day + Black Butler Movie Date

 21st June 2014

I remember being very happy about this day because it was one of my outings 1-2 weeks aftre my horrid exams.

AMG Idol Audition
I was dragged into participating this audition by Kaoru. As in..before this I have zero intention to participate; but after having few days of breakfast with her somehow she manage to convince me to sign-up myself on the closing day itself haha. So yeah you could guess how unprepared I was.

I chose a safe song lol. Some slow sentimental song with no ups and downs. Mainly because I knew I won't have time to fully prepare on the songs, but still memorising a completely new song within 2 days is still kinda taxing.

Anyway, I didn't made it through the audition hahaha, I do like the excitement though! And I learned a lot from the judges comments -- they said it's better to choose another song for audition purposes, and that even though I have control of the song I chose, it's still not enough to showcase my true ability. Oh well, I was just killing sometime before my date with Sayoko so I'm pretty much fine with that.

By the way ACG mini was held on the same day as well, near Sunway University cafeteria. Note that it's really MINI so not much stalls or booth available. Nevertheless I really do enjoy meeting Kaoru and the gang, and having chat with Adam (Leena's brother) during the auditions. I met several new friends too! So overall my morning on that day were quite fruitful ^^.

Picture taken by Adam if i didn't remember wrongly.

Relaxing Date with Sayoko - TWG  Tea Salon & Boutique

I left the audition during lunch break (the audition was until the evening), and met up with Sayoko at TWG. We wanted to have a nice relaxing lunch/tea time to relieve post-exam stress hahaha.

I lost count on the teas I have tried, but I remember she did order the Geisha Blossom tea that day.

I reallyyyyyy LOVE the tea lasagna here! We ordered seafood cream lasagna (I know it doesn't look like that, probably the 'cream' means tomato cream or something). I haven't had a nice lasagna in a while! Satisfying~~

We ordered a three-tier tea set as well. We took the Fortune set because I had the Chic set with my sis weeks ago. I really love the salmon croque in this set!~ Come to think about it Fortune set would be much better because it comes with better sandwiches and macarons.

Yummy Salmon Croque.

Macarons. Green tea, and two others I can't remember. Green tea one was not bad.

Relaxing Date Part 2 - Purikura & Tea/Dinner at Asian Avenue

We went purikura~ I'm quite a pro with this Neko Hyou machine d, so I prefer the one at e-curve that has pretty collage and gave two smaller photos per person.

We decided to have dinner at Sunway before moving to USJ Summit for our movie. Ended up with Snowflake @ Asian Avenue, which is a hugeeeee mistake. I remember ordering something rather inedible that I can't remember. Nah I don't wanna try recalling.

Bought my lovely Midorima and Takao keychains at Comic Paradise~ Soooo sad that the other characters were sold out. I got Hyuuga too by the way.

Movie Date - Black Butler @ USJ Summit

Drive to USJ Summit right after our lousy meal. I'm pretty amazed with her courage for being daring enough to sit my car lol. So yeah, Summit was pretty shady actually, especially at night. Full of runned down and old stores, and scary people lurking around. Not a good choice to spend the evening there but we had no choice, only Summit still has this movie airing.

Taking pictures with our tickets and the poster.
I wonder if it's my problem, but I find the movie EXTREMELY funny LOLOL. We couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire movie, and there are even times where I laugh till I cried =___=. Stomachache all the way haha. We found sooo many weird moments in the movie, one of it was the weird time set: The movie was set in a modern era but the place they lived in was super old, their clothes really not matching with all the other characters -- Especially a scene in the pub where everyone was looking so modern, and they wore lolita =___=.

I remember when the undertaker appeared we laughed like no one's business lolol. There were many other super funny scenes but I'll just leave it this way for now. Sadly I don't think I'll be able to make it for any of the Japanese Movie Fest thingy, either I won't be back from Japan yet, or I don't really have the time for a movie haizz. Gonna need to buy so many CDs for the movies I've missed, especially Lucy!! I really wanna watch that.
