Resignation

Today is the 18th of February and officially my last day working in my current company; will move on to a new company on the beginning of next month. Em.. yay?~

It may seem a little weird because I've only started working in this company since October 2013 lol, and I tendered my resignation letter around 3-4 months later (20th January 2014). To be honest I really love the colleagues I met here, and am really glad to know some nice friends; they are the ones who have supported and made my days throughout the months. I know I'm seriously gonna miss them LOADS T__T.

But still, life has to go on, and obviously I have to keep working towards better job goals and prospect etc. Anyhow I'm kinda excited about my new workplace, and I do hope I could get to meet more nice people ^__^ while upgrading my knowledge (And won't be changing any job in the near future).

P/S: Am praying hard that my Japan plan won't fail me this time.

Xmas Eve + XMAS + Boxing Day 2013 ~

I've had quite a happening and memorable christmas last year! It was actually quite unexpected as I usually love to over-plan my Xmas and then not going any of it because something always has to come up etc.

Christmas Eve (24.12.2013)

Manage to hangout with EeChing finally!! After like probably 1-2 years of not seeing her lol. It's always hard to find time to meet up with old friends when everyone's having different schedule T__T. We went MidValley to celebrate Christmas Eve together; there's this event where if we posted our photos on instagram with MidValley hashtag we'll get our photos printed. Both of us LOVE photo taking so we've spent most of our time there lol.

Some photos with MidValley Xmas deco~ To be honest I don't quite like xmas deco for midvalley this year, I find past years designs better.

It was really fun asking some passerby to help us take our photos lol.

Instagram version. For some reason I look plump in all the pictures I don't know why. Should have worn the Rosebullet knittop with matching shorts but not really suitable for working sob.

With pink x white short Xmas tree.

EeChing doesn't want Japanese, Korean food so we ended up with Italiannies. There's limited menu for Xmas Eve (only the Xmas Eve menu), and we made the best choice of sharing our food because it was mostly meh.

Turkey something with mashed sweet potatoes and broccoli lol. It tasted below average to the point that we don't even have mood for desserts (our initial plan).

After dinner it's photo taking time again! Our must-do for outings is always Purikura. LINE mascots were the hit during december, and there are so many merchandise in Jusco~ I tried very hard to fight the urge of buying Cony pouch ><, and yeah it worked. But feeling really regret for not getting it. #firstworldproblem.

Le pale me with Cony and Brown pillow.

We sneakishly brought Cony pillow with us into the photo booth as our photo prop lol.

Blushing Cony~~ Love it that purikura has seasonal designs, MeriKuri! Thanks to Xmas we get all our purikura photos softcopy for free using the Puripix app yay~

Seriously what happened to me that day lol, I looked so pale =__= (although Cony looking so blankly happy).

All 6 photos~ Am hoping Malaysia would have more photo booth, am getting a little bored with the same photo designs although they do have seasonal decorations. Anyway, we went home after purikura. Thanks a lot to EeChing for accompanying me until my parents come, so kind! I forgotten to pass her her xmas gift swt, I wish her all the best in her placement~

Christmas Day (25.12.2013)

Nothing much happened on Xmas day due to some reasons I don't wanna speak it out here. Spent the day resting at home relaxing, what more could I ask for lol. But if given the choice I would prefer to hangout somewhere enjoying Xmas, have a nice meal somewhere, shopping etc.

Received Xmas postcard all the way from Santa Village, Finland sent by my mum ^__^. Especially loved the santa stamp.

Bought Xmas cookies for my family and friends~ It was quite pricey but acceptable considering they are all handmade cookies and I Seriously love the designs!! One of the cutest designs I've seen, am looking forward to more cookie designs hehe.

Boxing Day (26.12.2013)

Celebrated Boxing Day with Sayoko at Dining in the Dark, Changkat Bukit Bintang. The dinner was realllyyyyy exciting and I have to say it's really pitch BLACK inside. Thanks a lot to Sayoko for asking her driver to pick me up all the way from my office and sent me home safely so I don't have to worry about my transportation.

The restaurant sign board is not really visible so we couldn't really spot the restaurant even after passing through it like twice.

Small signboard on a busy street.

It was dark even at the reception area. Which explains the blurry photos from Iphone.

We were shown the 'menu' for the day, and asked to play a small game (finding paperclips among beans, blindfolded). There's welcome drinks for each of us, I picked the alcoholic drink (White Russian) while Sayoko picked non-alcoholic (lemonade).

The not-so-informative menu.

Our welcome drinks.

After that we were led to the pitch black dining area by the darkness experts. No photos obviously because it's pitch black, and we were not allowed to bring in anything that emits light. I really love the concept of dining here as there is no handphone allowed, people will have to focus on creating conversations together. It made me appreciate the time being in there with my dining partner.

I won't comment much on the taste because it may taste bland due to the lack of sight, but still it's the experience that counts ^__^. We could have a look at the menu after the meal to reveal what we have ate, and it's so much fun trying to see if our tastebuds were sharp enough lol. On the happier note, we got almost all foods right! Except for the turkey and venison meat (xmas menu).

We got a bookmark each as a souvenir~
I'm praying for a better christmas this year as it's one of my favourite celebrative festivals!~

December 2013 New Hair Color!

Around two months after my previous hair salon visit (the light brown base with pink and purple highlights + mermaid curl styling--blog post about hair color change); as usual, the colors on my hair starts to fade and I'll go on and on about wanting a new change of hair color.

Wanting to save some cash, I went and purchase this off-the-shelf Schwarzkopf Freshlight hairdye from Watson, hoping that my hair would turn into the super sweet champagne pink color as shown from the doll picture on the box lol.

And obviously it failed lol. My hair turned into some hazelnut brown color, but oh well it still looks ok plus the hairdye box looks cute I don't really feel heartache for the money spent.

Still I prefer going to the saloon, off-the-shelf hairdye seems to hurt my scalp a bit, and with my hair so long I would need to purchase at least two to three boxes of hairdye.

The color faded really fast, around 2-3 weeks only if i'm not mistaken; probably because I have bleached hair, and my hair turned two toned again lololol.

The usual brown-blonde two toned hair, not that I dislike it ^^.

After that I wanted very much to go back to 76style hair saloon for my birthday hair, so I've booked myself a slot on 15th December 2013 (had to book on a weekend because I need to work now T___T).

Before: Butt-length hair. Can't believe I've managed to grow my hair soooo long. It takes quite a lot to maintain hair this length, time and cost and effort! So this time round I have decided to give myself a slight change!! Chop off my hair!!

Hahaha, not to worry, I've only snipped off half the length of my extremely long hair, so current hair length still considered long ^^. Steve was really happy when I said I wanted to cut my hair, he said he have been waiting to hear this for sooo long lol.

Tadaa~~ Here's the result of my new hair change! New fresh shorter hair and I really super mega  LOVE this new hair color OMG! Pink brown base with Sweet Pink dipdye~~ This is my first time trying dipdye and I really love the effect. Apparently the sweet pink color for the dipdye is specially mixed by Steve (this is what he said to me) so I'm feeling super thankful for his skills. My hair texture feels better too, probably the treatment on shorter hair. A huge thanks to Steve from number76, this is by far my favourite hair color/style ^___^.

Back view~

By the way, I'm planning on visiting the saloon again real soon, to commemorate the start of my new job lol. Still thinking hard whether to do back the same sweet pink dip dye or to change to something else. Any ideas? Do comment~

Mission Q Escape Game, SS15

28 December 2013

First attempt on Escape Game at Mission Q, SS15. Sayoko and I have been wanting to try out these sorta games and we just went and book a slot lol. December has been a really busy month for us, with all the exams, CF, and my work etc, so am really glad to have taken the time to try out this game.

There's 6 of us attending this game: Me, my sister, My sister's friend Fion, Sayoko, Erin, and a new friend Adam. I'm glad that Adam is a fun and sporting guy, thanks for introducing him to us Sayoko and Erin~~ Having a guy in escape game really helps lolol, he'll be doing all the dirty work ahem.

We picked "The Missing Corpse" themed room, and it's kinda creepy with all the music behind (plus some falling hands, not gonna spoil anymore). We were given extra minutes and I'm so happy we manage to escape!! Talk about self satisfaction and accomplishment haha.

Group photos after completion of the game:

We were given a polaroid photo as well, but we chose to stick it at the hallway board (I couldn't find our photo during my second trip there though).

We went for dessert at Snowflakes after the game, really miss the taro balls there >_< ~~ As usual I ordered their signature ice dessert haha. Am kinda sad that I need to leave earlier because my mum is waiting, would be enjoying more if there's more time spent together. BUT! We will be going for another game soon! And the next time would be at the Escape Dungeon hehe sounds scary and fun. Can't wait!
