Travel Post: Hokkaido July 2015 (Part 1)

As most of you might have known from my facebook and instagram/twitter, yup! I went Hokkaido for around two weeks (mid July - 1st August). Not going to do a detail travel post but gonna post some photos at least.

Anyway, did my hair and nails right before the trip! Gave myself green highlights for summer feel.

Summer themed nails:

Now the travel picture scams:
Before Japan (at Singapore)

Yummy dinner thanks to uncle.

First time had 6 flavors of TWG macarons at once.

Hakodate & Matsumae

First Lunch:

Unagi Rice

Omurice

Gyudon.

Famous Yubari melon + mix milk/melon softcream.

Dinner at Lucky Pierrot (apparently the best burger in Japan), I do think so too though, the burger is really soooo yummy.

Drinks are meh though.

The No. 1 in Japan burger.

Hamburger set because the burger alone wasn't enough.

Midnight Snacks.

Breakfast at Hakodate Morning Market before Matsumae day trip:

These were one of the best seafood don we had throughout the trip. I rank it No. 2, please do look forward for No. 1 hahaha.

Tickets to Matsumae Castle.

Had soba in Matsumae because the famous Matsumae sanshoku don restaurant is closed that day =___=.

Night scene at Mount Hakodate. Top 3 night sceneries in the world! Conquered!

Dinner at mount hakodate, having dinner while looking at the world top night scenes.

Goryokaku Tower

Ice Cream in the tower.

Lunch at Hakodate famous Shio Ramen shop Ajisai. Had to say Shio Ramen is my least favourite ramen flavor of all. Can't even finish half a bowl, but my family likes it though lol.

Almond dessert after lunch.

Noboribetsu & Lake Toya

Went into the onsen uncountable times for this trip hahaha, it's almost everyday.

Me + Yukata + Hakama

Our dinner getting prepared in our room.

Lol super extravagant dinner.

Zoomed in.

We were sooooo lcuky to have caught the local Noboribetsu summer ghost fireworks event (actually we were quite lucky throughout the trip because whereever we went it somehow landed on the festival day). And so, the ghost festival is about two ghosts (the red and blue), servant of the Hell King/God, dancing and praying for our health and safety.

Lake Toya day trip: we were very lucky to have met a super kind hearted old taxi driver who volunteered to send us around whole day with some charge (it's gonna be super expensive if he charged us by meter, and we wanted to use the bus at first, which means longer travel time and harder schedule).

In front of Lake Toya and Showa Shinzan.

Me on top of Usuzan, the lake behind is Lake Toya.

Had the Lake Toya famous Red Beef Curry Rice for lunch, with the Noboribetsu demon beer. Too bad the Blue demon beer was sold out, so we only tried the red demon.

Went to see the black bears after lunch, bear say Hi!

We went to Noboribetsu best foot spring (unexpectedly near our Ryokan). The spring water was very hot but our legs did feel better after the dip :D.

Second day dinner, different menu!

Thats all for Part 1! Will blog about Otaru and the rest soon ^^
