Since the beginning of July my mum was suggesting about going somewhere near for fun as a family because after me getting a job it's harder to match a free time for the whole family for a trip. I was considering among Legoland+Hello Kitty land and Singapore Universal at first, but after finding out that Legoland's ride are mainly for kids (only 3 adult rides) and we already went to Singapore Universal last year, we decided to go to Genting instead for the rides and games.
It was around 13 years ago since our last trip to Genting so we were quite excited. We planned a 3 day 2 nights trip so that it's more relaxed and less rushed.
Day 1
After reaching First World hotel, we had our lunch while waiting to check-in to our rooms. The check-in kiosks were pretty advanced but somehow problems still arise and customers still require the help of hotel officers (so much for high-tech hotels).
We planned to do all activites that is not included in the Full day all-park tickets (gonna do theme park only on day 2). Snow World is the first one on our list! Only mum, sis and I went in as dad dislike being in the cold even for 20minutes lol. We went in with just our leather jackets because we didn't wanna use the smelly winter coat given lol. I was asked to change my shoes which I badly regretted to because I'm pretty sure my shoes will keep my toes warmer than theirs. Their boots were so thin, I was trying hard to tahan the pain throughout the whole 20minutes in Snow World.
We get to play around with slides and fake dry ice snow lol. It was pretty fun trying to lie to myself that I'm not in Malaysia haha. The best part in Snow World is the photo-taking session~ Photographers there were extremely helpful and enthusiastic (duh they charge heavenly price for the photos), they helped suggesting poses for us, following us around for different 'sceneries' pictures.

We went to Ripley's Haunted Adventure + Believe it or not muzeum next! Went to both because there's a package and I've never been to a haunted house before haha. I have to say I'm quite dissapointed la, because I was expecting to get really scared and freaked out but I didn't lol. I really braved up myself for this one le, so when it's really nothing scary at all I do feel down la hahaha. (Note: the part where we have to use some machine laser gun to shoot a still fake worm with LED light is rather lame)
But of course the family photo turns out nice also, and also I can't understand why in this era they still didn't sell soft copies of the photos, ohno.
The Ripley's Believe it or Not muzuem is relaxing and entertaining, at least better than the Haunted Adventure. I did not have much nice pictures in there but playing around discovering stuffs is as fun ^^.

Day 2
I really do enjoy day 2 a lot, and why u ask? I LOVE themeparks!! Especially thrilling rides~~ I went to all rides for both outdoor and indoor themepark this time (even the ones for kids! except for the water rides), and even repeated some of the better ones.
Lol. Dad on the plane ride hahaha. I love this photo coz the sky looks so blue and nice!~ Dad looking happy too haha.
Me and sis on the spoiled plane haha. Our plane couldn't fly T_T, it stays in the lowest lane until the ride finishes, how unlucky. Mum not in any of the plane pics coz she is the one holding the camera.
After some other kiddish ride (the jumbo and teacup), we stop by the small pond looking at the fishes. Dad was particularly amazed because they have this species of fish which looks bigger than the ones he've seen before, I forget the English name lol. We bought some fish feeds and spend some time feeding the fishes.
This is the fish I was talking about haha. Pretty smart right? Opening it's mouth when there's free food lol.
Telephone stand out of no where. My sis hiding inside the other stand, now u see her now u don't.
And she's out now haha.
Boat ride next. It's so so so so tiring hahaha. My mum and I took a boat, and my dad and sis another. Not fair coz our boat is a little faulty, even after stepping hard for many rounds it only move few inches ==. While my dad & sis boat's motor works better.

I love the Spinner!! It's like a swing, just higher and faster haha. I sat it for around 4 times haha. Night view for the Spinner is really nice with all the lights blinging ^^.
Ok here you go, me screaming away. First time up there of course scared, after few times become zen mode lol.
This. is. scary. But my sis love this, I don't know why. It's the Flying Coaster, basically we'll fly like how Superman flies (same pose), lying 180degress and fly all around.

Space shot is scary too T_T. I remember trying it before once when I was 10 years old. It was when this ride has just newly openned. This time is for my sis!

Confession: to me and my sis, the scariest ride EVER is the ferris wheel. It's soooo slow, and high and swings slightly if we move. Damn scary.
Me holding the camera this time because mum was holding it all the time. It was quite difficult to use the camera because neither me or my sis dare to move even an inch in the ferris wheel lol.
I love The Waves!!! I sat it for 4-5 times too~~ One of the time when me and my mum were riding this, everyone suddenly clap their hands (we did too because we were confused). And later we knew it the clap means encore =_=. So a single ride became two rides, still quite fun la.

and....WE'RE UP!
Sadly I sat the other rides alone (Mine coaster, Flying Dragon), sis was having a down mood so I had to go alone. She went with me for the Euro Express indoor ride though~ ^^
Overall I'm pretty satisfied with myself coz I went for all rides~ Achievement Unlocked! I do realise I'm getting better at thrilling rides, probably gonna go for rock climbing, bunjee jumping etc soon~
We spent the rest of our time in the casino lol, including Day 3 before we went home at around 4pm.
Now I feel like going Universal Singapore again. Or Korea. Or Europe. LOL.
