Kiss Me x Lucido-L Beauty Workshop



Attended the Kiss Me x Lucido-L beauty workshop two weeks ago with Choy Peng - a talented and dedicated blogger :D (Do check out her blog here , enjoy reading!). Workshop started around 1pm, so we met up for brunch at Frisson Coffee Bar.

I went there again for brunch the next day with my family, ordering some scrambled eggs and mushrooms; but I still prefer the chunky salmon omelette haha, the mushrooms were too sour for my liking.

 

After having a super speedy brunch (I was 30minutes late, thus only have 30minutes for food >___<), we went up for the workshop~

I sometimes do like Japanese drugstore brands like Kiss Me, heavy rotation, canmake etc since they are usually less pricey, and the quality is still there. It's very easy to just lose to the temptation and buy everything off the shelf, thats what I always do sobs.

 

I can't believe i met some familiar faces like Joey and Abby (from the japanese community), we took a short instavid together but I haven't received any from them so I will just wait quietly lol.

 

Anyway Choy Peng and I got a good spot for ourselves; I'm pretty impressed with how they arranged the tables. Each table was full of brand new Kiss me, Bifesta and Lucido-L products (not even opened yet!) for us to try out and use.

 

Look at all the new products on our tables!! The organisers were pretty generous and I love it :D They were also very considerate, preparing us with proper cotton bads, Q-tips, mirror, hair clips and bobby pins!

I didn't want to remove my existing makeup, because I was quite particular with my skincare routine and foundation. Just can't take accept removing all my makeup and skipping my skin care routine before applying makeup on my face all over again.

 

But I've used Bifesta makeup removers before, and they were one of my favourite makeup remover brands. I like the UV cream a lot !! Comparable with the ones I got from Japan. Bought one for myself after the workshop :)

Did my brows with the brow palette, added on some black liquid eye liner and coatings of mascara. I do like the hair styling part of the workshop as well, love to try out different new hair styles.

 



 

 

Get to know some new friends too :D She has beaufiful thick hair, am sooo envious of her hair.

 

 

Tadaaa! I did this on my own! Am proud of myself hehehe (not to mention how sore my arms felt after doing this >__>).

We had all the time in the world for selfies and more selfies :D Pretty sad they don't have lip products for us to try out though. I had to use my own lip color to complete the look.

They are selling the products before and after the workshop as well, so everyone can purchase them at a lower-than-retail price after trying out during the workshop. I bought myself a Glitter eyeliner (can be used for Namidabukuro - tear bag makeup), and also the UV suncream i mentioned just now.

Spring 2014 Lookback~

I've had a rather good Spring this year! In terms of food, shopping and some performances though, since my schedule is pretty hectic with work and studies etc (I don't even wanna think about it). I'm still trying to find more time to try out some new stuffs, so will be working hard to find the equilibrium between work/studies and fun.

 

Anyway~ Here's the pics! Photos will be arranged from old to new ^^ if I didn't recall wrongly

Pastel pink + lavendar Alpacca pouch. I supposed this was my first purchase this Spring. Was having this hidden goal to grab all the pastel colored stuff lol, so you guys could probably see tons of pastel coloured stuffs in this post.

One of my favourite shopping! Pale pastel pink skinny jeans from Mango. Walked through and forth Bershka and Mango to decide which pink skinny jeans to take. Ended up with this because the pink looks better and Mango always look better on me haha. Lavendar shorts and mint green HP cover from Bershka.

Really x100 LOVE my new HP cover! I match it up with a really pretty pearl + ribbon ear plug ^^. My phone looks really Hime (princess) now.

Happy Escape game with game buddies!!! This was at Escape Dungeong, SS15. There's the 'Menu', 'Spider treasure', Adam's Manikin which he had so much fun stripping LOL, chinamade gold etc (all the internal jokes), feel like laughing out loud while typing this hahhaa. I wish we could meet up more often for more games ><. Never ending laughters and fun with you guys~

Most recent game few weeks ago at Escape Room, Setiawalk. Love the time we spent together (as usual) but the game ending is seriously swt, impossible to solve. Am glad I stayed for the Karaoke session! I must have lost few kgs just by laughing alone, hahaha. You guys really made my day (or days) during my hard times, so thanks a lot!

Got my Lovely Casio TR15! Decided on mint green as it's more rare for a camera ^^.

Looks super pretty. Sadly I still don't have the time to sit down and played with it. Gonna start using it soon! Can't wait for the time to come hehe. I'm actually eyeing for another cam but thats for another time.

I wonder if I mentioned before, but I LOVE EGGS BENEDICT!! This one is from Delicious, Gardens. Comes with sauteed mushrooms ^^.

Spring special menu from Pasta Zanmai: Hayashi Gyuusuji Cheese Risotto - Mushroom risotto with Mozzarella Cheese and Beef Sinew in Demi-glazed sauce. Had this with my lovely Akiko! I wish we could meet up more often! Better still every single day!!! And I'm typing this blog post on her birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AKIKO!!! Am meeting you real soon so wait for me!

MY NEW SPRING HAIR COLOR!!
It wasn't supposed to be like this, either the cut or color, trust me. It's much shorter than I wanted, but it's fine since can't turn back time lol. Had to go with a darker color due to time constraint and it's gonna fade anyway so dark pink brown wasn't so bad either.

Trying out new hair products from Ma Cherie~ They smell sooo good! Fruity+Floral, way suitable for Spring ^^. Bought the shampoo, Treatment and Nutrient Spray to try them out. So far so good!

Mum designed a photobook for our Jogja trip last year. Full of nice pictures!

All the stuff bought during Estee Lauder Staff Sale! Am so so so sooooo sad I couldn't join the spree as I have class (why do i ALWAYS have class =___=). Luckily mum and sis did a great job buying all these!! Am already planning for next year's sale so who cares if i have class, will definitely go next time!

Joined the Tiamo Shoe Selfie contest. Still considering if I should buy this pair of flats if I didn't win the contest. They look so good on me and sooo comfy!

Went to Port Dickson for several hours to attend (perform) for my company's annual dinner.
Didn't like the beach >< As what the people have always tell me, the beach is small and there's nothing really special about it.

But I think I did a great job taking these nice pictures though! :D

Had a Two-Days Lunch programme with Eunee!!! Am so happy we get to see each other for two consequtive days, it doesn't happen always lo... Had lunch at Subway + Dessert at Madeleine Cafe. I love my Hazelnut Latte so much! The Caramel Cheese Cake was average though..

Day 2 lunch with Eunee: Garage 51!!!! Have been wanting to try this since the longest time Ever. Thanks for trying out this place with me Eunee~

Ok la. I have to admit it wasn't extremely great or something. It was just above average. I ordered this Maria Parloa - Diced mushroom, homemade hash potatoes, smoked cured salmon and free-range poached egg with Hollandaise. I find it good as it has all the ingredients I love. But it tasted normal, like I could predict how it will taste like since the beginning, nothing special. But i'm still happy to have visited this place though!

Eunee's Mushroom Croissant; which both she and I find not so worth to eat.

After lunch we had desserts at Coffeea Coffee ^^. Had this Chai Latte and Cherry cheese cake. The cheese cake was slightly better than the one in Madeleine, but the latte sucks.

Let's meet up to do more interesting stuff after my exams!!! I can't wait for Plate culture experience hehe~

My lunch few days ago with Nicole (one of my different team colleagues) at L-Table. I regret not knowing this place earlier!!! They have super good brunches :D ~~

 

 

Nicole's order (looked super delicious right??): Croque Madame - Layered chicken ham and grilled cheese in thick sandwich bread, baked with bechamel with an egg on top. I had a try and it tasted great! 

 

My order!! Salmon Eggs Benedict, lol no need to explain. The food here is better than the ones at Garage 51. Must try out more of their stuffs in the later days~

I'll end this lengthy post with my Skin Care preparation for Summer~~~ Trying out the super famous Cure Aqua Gel and B-liv products, wouldn't have gotten it without Sasa Summer Sales, really worth it with all the free samples ^^.

Looking forward for my Taobao+Bodyline shopping spree!!
